Thoughts?

Layout-5/25: This is a fairly simple layout. The picture is definitely original, but it doesn't really point to a theme. It doesn't really go with your title. It's an interesting picture to look at, but I'm also not sure if it really says, "Diary Template!" to me. Also, the colors. Holy wow. There are so many of them that it throws me off. A blue border around your picture, a yellow scrollbar shadow, pink title and date, green links, and orange text. Maybe if those were 5 different colors that complimented each other it would be better, but it kind of just looks like you wrote down names of colors and picked them out of a hat.
I'm not sure what else to say about this template. I realize your friend designed it for you, but maybe you should get a template from a design site instead.

Content-35/50: I'm not sure why you started out that particular entry with that particular quote. When I read it, I thought I was going to be reading an entry about love. Instead, it was an entry about making choices. It was a fairly good entry, just threw me off with the irrelavence of your quote.
I love the way this entry starts out. It makes a person stop and think about how many choices they make every single day. Before they even get out of bed in the morning, they have to make the choice: To stay in bed for 5 more minutes, or get up now. You also pose an interesting question. Is there a "right" and "wrong" choice for everything? It made me stop and think for a few minutes about what you said; "Is there really one set way to happiness or can the twists and turns, trials and triumps, losses and gains bring us to a final state of happiness?" Which made me wonder about how people say there are two paths: A good, and a bad. Biblically speaking, I believe that. But in relation to life, what if there are a million different paths, and each one we choose creates a million more? For example: You choose to wear the white shirt. You go out to lunch, spill spaghetti on it, and spend the rest of the day at work feeling embarrassed and covering it up. You are so distracted, you don't get your work done, your boss yells at you, and you go home in a crappy mood. Or, you choose to wear the red shirt. Someone on the street catches your eye and gives you a compliment that it makes your eyes stand out. They ask you to go to dinner that night, you do and *somehow* know to stay away from the spaghetti. You have a great time, and go home feeling completely happy. Who knows? Your whole life could be determined by what color shirt you wear in the morning.
Anyways, I like that the first paragraph of your entry made me think. That told me that this was going to be a fun, look-inside-someone-else's-head entry. Then, I got to the second paragraph, and I was disappointed. I feel you could have expanded so much more on your first paragraph, but instead you switched gears and used your thinking point to preach at us. Yes, what you said was true, people *should* think before they make a decision, but when hearing that from someone they don't even know, it just doesn't have a good effect.
Then, in your last little bit, you said, "No idea why I wrote all that." That's never a good statement for a diarist to write! If you second-guess yourself, so will everybody else. If you really *don't* know why you wrote it, that's okay, but even so, there's no need to state it....if you don't know why you wrote it, we certainly have no clue.
All in all, it started out to be a really great entry but then just kind of lagged off for me.

Contact-2/5: Only notes. No guestbook or anything. If you'd like a guestbook, might I suggest Sitegadgets? It's a free signup with a bunch of different neato things you could add.
Errors-4/5: The link to the 57 things on your bio page doesn't work.
Navigation-3/5: You don't have very many links, which left me kind of searching for things. Also, they're all the way at the bottom. I don't know if you usually write short entries or not, but generally I like links better at the top of the entries.
Bonus-2/5: You have no quck-view link! Shame on you! If I hadn't have done this whole review without checking first, you'd not have one. Also, not many extras at all. One of them doesn't work, one's just a MSN profile, one is just a survey where you put x's on the things that were true, and one that has nothing to do whatsoever with you. 2 points only because the bio is pretty cool.
Would I read another entry?-2/5: Maybe. Probably not. Only if I was really, really bored.
Quote from Entry: "Life is filled with difficult decisions. White shirt or red shirt. This dress or that dress. Good looking asshole or ugly sweetheart. When decisions are made, can they always be the right ones?"
Last Thoughts: Too many colors....not enough extras.
Score 53/100
