SCORING:

Layout-25 points: Layout counts. If you used someone else's layout, you better have a link. If you've made your own, give yourself credit somewhere. You probably worked hard for it and I don't want to think you've stolen it from somebody else and just forgotten to link them. D-land generic templates get an automatic 0 in this category.

Content-50 points: This may seem like a lot of points for just one entry, but content is the most important part of a diary. Maybe you can't judge a diarist on one entry, but that's why you get to choose which one you want reviewed, so don't pick your most crappy entry ever or you'll get a low score. Does your entry show emotion? Is it funny? Does it make me think? What makes it better than all of your other entries? Put thought into which entry you want to be reviewed, don't just pick some random entry while closing your eyes.

Contact-5 points:Easy 5 points. Can I get in touch with you without spending 10 minutes trying to figure out how? At least 3 ways of contact to get full points in this category.

Errors-5 points:Do your links work? Do you have broken images? Can I actually tell what you are talking about in your entry? Grammar and spelling mistakes are forgivable, we're all human. But if I can't tell what you are saying (and I'm pretty good at deciphering typos and bad grammar) then you will get points taken off.

Navigation-5 points: Another easy category. Can I find my way around? Do I have to search for 5 minutes just to find the link to your profile? Are your links cluttered or are they neat? Do they all work?

Bonus-5 points: This is for any extras that you have. 100 things about yourself? Lyrics to life? Your ABC's? How can I learn more about you? Extra points for extra good extras!

Would I read another entry?-5 points: Does the entry I read make me want to hurry up and click the "next" button and read what happens next? Or does it leave me confused, or worse yet, bored?
